GDPR & your data rights
How We Run Tickets complies with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and how to exercise your rights.
Lawful bases
- Contract — operating your account and providing the ticketing service.
- Legitimate interests — securing the Platform and preventing fraud.
- Consent — analytics cookies and marketing emails (withdrawable at any time).
- Legal obligation — accounting, tax and lawful requests.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to be informed, to access your data, to rectify inaccuracies, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent. We respond to requests within one month.
Making a request
Send your request through our contact form. We may ask for proof of identity. If you have a buyer account with an event organiser, you can also export or erase your buyer data directly from the "My tickets" account page.
Data transfers
Where data is processed outside the UK/EEA (for example by our processors), we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Complaints
You can complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) in the UK or your local supervisory authority — but please contact us first and we'll try to fix it.
